Nicole Masi
MSW, RSW
Master of Social Work, Registered Social Worker
I am a clinical social worker who is consistently able to connect with clients and make them feel comfortable discussing any issue. Connection with the counsellor is very important for therapy to work, and I am confident I will be able to connect with you. I have many diverse life experiences of my own and have worked within social services for seven years. I will acknowledge your individual life experiences and will support your healing journey.
Simply put, I am a professional to help you work through and complete your therapy goals. I will cheer you on for every victory and support you through the setbacks. I strive to help you find your strengths in the darkest times. I work from a person-centered approach to find the counselling style that works best for you as the client, using different aspects from multiple types of therapeutic approaches such as family structural therapy, attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), trauma interventions, and brief solution-focused therapy. I work from a crisis and trauma-informed perspective while remaining culturally inclusive and sensitive. My aspiration is that every session is beneficial for you to grow into the person you want to be.
